Help with sub selection.
kinglou,
if you are trying to go pure bass and loud, have a ported box built or build one yourself. Standard sealed boxes just won't cut it if you are trying to get your money's worth out of the subs. Nice choice on subs however. Heard them in a ported box, and they are off the hook. A big fan of bass myself, I would recommend ported and nothing else when it comes to pulling bass.

yeah im probably gonna go with 0awg and im looking into a batcap because when im done ill have close to 1800watts RMS on each sub.. .. .. Im running 800 watts now with 4 and no cap and the lights barely dim when the base hits hard.. .. .. your right too i think ported makes ur subs sound way better then sealed

trust me i need to run 0 awg in my xb. at full tilt im pulling close to 200 amps of current so i dont think 4 gauge is sufficient. besides i ran my 0 awg down the middle of the car so its not even noticeable unless u put ur face like 2 inches from it
