Default hid's installed need help with wiring problem

i installed my 10000k h4 hi/lo hid kit into my car and they look great until i hit the high beam... they start to flicker and then shut off.

ive noticed that with the high beam the polarity switches or something to that affect. does anyone have a trick to installing these so my hi beam works??

also when i turn my lights on the high beam indicator light is always on.. i know because our systems are 9006 that i had to switch the polarity for the hid's to light up, is that in anyway making the car think that its on HI instead of LO?

thanks

I would say yes, it's thinking the Highbeams are on all the time, thus making it flicker and turn off when you flip it to make your actual Highbeam HID's come on. How to fix it? Beats me, hopefully someone will be able to help, if not, call the manufacturer of the kit.

I work with and install alot of HID's kits... my best guess would be, a lack of power. You may need to modify the unit with some diodes.

if i jump the wires at the plug both hi and lo beams come on so im not sure if its a lack of power..

the manufacturer said i would need to upgrade my headlight relay.. i did that and it didnt do squat of a difference

where would i put the diodes?

can u post a link to your actual kit and the brand and everything..
i would LOVE to give u help..
keep in mind we run on constant POSITIVE and we use a negative for s signal.

i use a relay to convert the polarity so i ground the ballast, use a relay to convert the - switch to a positive output.. i use like a 30/35amp fuse to the fuse on the prong that i use for constant +(to battery)...
