That's a good idea.
Seems like something that'd be kinda hard to do. But if anyone knows how that'd be great!

My fingers are crossed.

watching...
This has been brought up before, but I dont remeber if anyone has actually done it though.
From what I remeber people started flaming the dude, calling him lazy because he didnt want to sit there and hold the button down.

But I'd like to try this too.

Would be a handy "Oh ____ the cops" button for those of us with "too" dark tint.

Personally, I can imagine this being really efficient for the manual box's. Instead of trying to roll down windows while shifting and such, just hit it and continue driving.

And for auto's, if a passenger, or yourself, lets a stinky one out its an easy way to vent.

The Auto-up/down sounds great. I'm just lookin for an ALL up/down button, I have OCD. all perfect. I have different highths i like the windows at for different situations. Like Shows as to driving. This sounds like it'd be in an EXTREME luxury car. very Vip to me. Maybe you could get it to chime, or Ding when you push it. like windows noises. tehehehehe Pun intended.

Dude! Me too!

I want window switches that can go three positions. Up/Middle/Down

Sometimes, when I'm driving, and at shows, I like having the edge of the glass at the front corner of the frame and for the back windows to be even with the fronts...

How neurotic is that?!

not much would be needed I've been informed, a lil circut, controller and some memory for the voice and some sort of timed voltage stopping mechanism, with a momentary Auto-down switch. I need to hit-up Instructables for more Info.

where would the memory go? does this mean you will need a processor. if thats the case, then we can add voice command too..right?

I think i figured out how to have all windows come down at the same time. Not that i really want to do this on my car, it just seems like an interesting idea. Looks like to have just the simultanious down function (from the separate button mounted anywhere on the dash or the door) it will take a few relays and some splicing into the wiring harness below window master switch. Parts alone cost looks to be about $150, and with some luck everything will fit behind drivers door panel. What do you people think- is it worth the effort? To add auto-up function,- thats another $100. I am ASE cert in auto electrics among other things, so i am pretty shure i can get it to work with just basic Bosch relays and some other readily available stuff.

i just had a new alarm system put in, and i told them to wire my 2nd auxillary port to roll the windows up and down, and they did it with no problems..., the only thing is they either go all they way up or all the way down, which is good enough for me!

i have a tc, but i think they same idea would work with a box!
