Default How many LED Illumination modes

Hey guys,

I was hoping someone can tell me how many modes there are on their OEM LED illumination.

I just noticed that I have 2 settings:
- Floor On,
- Floor On, Cups On

Is there supposed to be a setting for only the cupholders on?

Thanks in advance,
Eric

Eric:

I have the OEM red illumination in the front and in the cupholders. The switch has four settings:

- Floor On
- Floor On / Cups On
- Cups On
- All Off

I hope that this helps!

Thanks Richard!

Looks like I gotta take it down to the dealer to get it checked out while it's under warranty. Sounds like a bunk switch.

Good luck! If you need any additional information--such as model numbers or switch part numbers, let me know. I can pull it out pretty easily if needed.

Hey Richard,

Would you happen to have the part # or know where to get that switch? It's a total pain in the butt to take it to the dealer. Part of me wants to just because it's under warranty but the other part of me just wants to do a quick fix since it's easy to replace.

Thanks,
E

I'm going to be taking apart the center console next weekend to install some new lights, so I'll pull the switch then and get the part number. You might try radio shack, though, as they should have something that will work. (I get a lot of one-off parts there.)

Good luck!

Richard
