You post pictures of a mod, you open yourself up for opinions. If you don't want opinions, don't post pictures.

 

i agree, but "i like such and such and don't like such and such" is different than "i'm creating an official list for folk who agree with me that your mod looks bad. who is with me?" that is a "poll", which this thread is not.

 

If you like it, then rock it. I can definately say I haven't seen anyone else do it yet.

 

true. I do believe the list was out of hand as well.

 

ok i dont like it right now either on the center piece and i said something to him about it and he said he was going to try and clean it up and if he cant he would take it back off but i think it looks good there but it isnt his best work

 

I hate to be negative, but that fabric looks dirty for one, the dash is not clean looking ond there is noticable glue. If you didnt install it, you need to have a talk with the installer

 

Sorry if people thought "the list" got out of hand.

I actually LOVE the other pieces, and can't wait to see the headliner re-wrap! I think it will bring it all together.

But it is my OPINION that the center dash is all too much, and doesn't look as clean as the other pieces.

In reference to the dirty fabric and glue... I'm pretty sure he was trying to get pics up asap cause we were asking to see em'. They're probably not detailed and cleaned yet.

HURRY UP AND DO THE HEADLINER! I WANNA SEE IT!
BTW, are you doing the headliner yourself? Cause there's an awesome DIY about it in the TECH section.

my opinion ghetto is tweed.I'm no diy i am to afraid i'll mess something up he is doing the whole car him self i was` hoping to see the hedliner too but it will be done soon or l8r well see.

You get bonus points for trying this, truly unique, but honestly, I dislike it all. The pattern on the fabric looks like a chicks handbag IMO. The center dash is looking hella ridiculous. I'm not hatin', but if you wanna you can hate back my car is totally factory!

 

The bottom line is if you post pics of your car no matter what someone will have something negative to say. Personally, I don't like it but I think it's great that he took the time to make his car unique. If we all cared about what other people think of our cars would we be driving boxes? I think not.

its done i get to get it monday he redid the dash piece (he said it looks alot better and if i still didnt like it he would take it off) and made some pillows to go in the back of extra fabric witch i still have alot of. i'll post pics asap

 

the center console almost looks snake skin. If you like it thats all that matters. RIGHT!?
