if you do a wall setup keep in mind interchangable ports use one for spl tuned to around the resonance frequency and one for sq tuned to a hz or 2 above the subs fs

if i do go with the wall i will probably go sealed, depending on how many subs i go with. if i were going to go with just four subs i could probably go ported but im thinking of 6 or more 12's. thanks for the info though.

you could go ported with 4 dayton dvc 12 or 15 in a ported box tuned to 25 or 26 hz :twisted:
if i didn't have my kid i would of went that route but instead i when with just (2) 12" in a 4.5cuft box ported tuned to 26 hz

i really had thought about going with a ported box but have trouble calculating and understanding hertz. i currently am running three rf p2 12's in a single box with three chambers in it and a port for each chamber. with the ports we basically made them to the rf specs then when we were not getting the sound we wanted we made them longer. not very professional but we're learning. thanks i really appreciate the reply.

on that Tuner Transformation show, they were showing other cars with speaker systems in them and they had this one Hot Lava with a wall in it...I think it was orange and white....
