Just got my back-up camera installed and rearview mirror with screen also. All that is left now is the 7" widescreen in the dash and headrest monitors. Pioneer Navigation will also be added. Pics will be posted very soon!

 

What rear view mirror monitor did you get?? And where did you install the camera??

They stopped sellin the mirror at the fry's in our area so I had to come up with something else. Other then that, I would have had the mirror also. Lookin good! Is the camera hooked up to the mirror/monitor yet? and is it Black and white or color?

Yes, the camera is hooked up to the mirror. It is full color. Nice thing about the mirror, it has two video source inputs, so I can also hook up my navigation to AV2!

I say was going to get because after thinking about it if I put a game system in there I wouldn't be able to play it so what would be the point. If we go somewhere I drive, my wife rides shotgun and watches the Kenwood monitor up front and my daughter watches her headrest monitors in the back. She is only 6 so is too young to really be able to play them. To each his own though, I am not bashing anyone.

 

do you have a pic of the camera on>? I wanna see how clear it looks on the mirror. I might have to go diggin for another monitor.

what is this e-bay picture about? I noticed the same thing when i first looked at the pic of the mirror. only because i too am not un-hairy.

 

Nohing wrong with my monitor, but you know the old sayin," You get what you pay for!" Well, I paid 89.00 for my monitor and the darn thing does not have any other inputs and the picture isn't clear at night. I just got it done right away for the el toro meet. So now I have time to get another monitor, maybe I will have another one in time for the vegas meet at the end of this month.

 

Vegas meet? Leaving me out?

 

I am still finalizing my hotel accomedations , but stay posted to the desert and salt forum for a vegas meet if you wanna meet up.
