Default Installed cold cathodes - unexpected result...

Hi everyone,
I just received my blue (Cold Cathodes) CCs from Oznium, and connected them as per the HOW TO on this site.

Something unexpected happened:
When the CC light switch is "on", the CCs only light when the headlights are "off" (i.e. off or parkign lights are on. In other words, when I turn on my headlights, the blue lights turn off!

I suspect this is because they receive power from the fog lamp plug, and Xbs apparently are not wired to run fog and headlights simultaneously.

Is there a work around?

Also, where exactly do you attach the tubes under the dash? Is there a pic somewhere?

BTW: Oznium was wonderful to deal with, and kudos to Max2K for the great HOW TO.

Cheers,

I have the Randode Cold Cathodes and his instructions have you use the Headlight wire not the Fog light. Mine only work if the Headlights are ON. I am not sure what your instruction were like but the ones from Randode are very detailed and easy to follow.
The Tubes under the dash are a little tricky, you just need to hold them under there and find something to attach them too, (wires). Thats what I did, and mine look good and work good.

Yeah, that's the foglight relay. It's best just to pull a wire through the firewall.
