Installed my Bluebat overlays today ::pics::
Well I got my smoke out tail light overlay kit from Bluebat today and had to put them on right away. These things make the tail lights look so much better IMO.
Well you guys check out his kits at http://www.bluebatmobile.com/ he has all kinds of vinyl kits and they are great quality. And now for the pics....

Bluebat does a great job with his kits so its pretty easy. I used a little soap and water so I could place them, then just got the air bubbles out. The hardest part for me was the wrap around part on the tail light. I had a hard time getting it to lay flat at first but my GF (the pregnate girlie in the pic) and I just kept working the overlay until it layed flat. took me about 30 mins to do both but well worth the time IMO.
The soap solution should only be used to position the film.
You should try using a solution of 70% water and 30% Isopropyl rubbing alcohol in a squirt bottle to remove the soap solution.
The rubbing alchohol will cause the water to evaporate more quickly.
This will help with getting the film to adhear to the lens. I would as recommened cleaning the lens with Wax and Silicone remover first to remove any wax or silicone build up.
