Installed the xB scosche custom sub enclosure
Bought the thing from crutchfield, installed it in seconds flat, and let me tell you, think this is perfect for average sub guys like me. It is fed by a rockford fosgate 200WRMS amp (bridged) and an Alpine CDA-9847.
I was hesitant to purchase it because I've owned several subs in my life and don't want to spend my money on something that isn't up to par with my taste. Installation was a snap and wiring was equally easy. The unit is VERY solid and the enclosure actually fits better than the previous cargo area.
I decided to wait to cut into my current cargo lid and try it with the lid on. It started rattling it, so I few some cloth in the rattle areas and it sounds great! When I finally do attach the included grill, I'll be sure to post what it looks like. Now, it looks EXACTLY like it did before I installed the sub. It's 100% stealth and I like that.
I listen to a lot of folk, alternative, and electro-pop and it hits very nicely. I even tried out a THX bass test CD and the thing rattled the windows in my garage. It's a wonderful sub for an even better price.
Anyone have any questions, lemme know. A photo is a bit pointless since all it really is doing is replacing something you had covered anyway. When I cut a hole for the grill, I'll post. BTW, the grill is also tough.
