Default installing cathodes?

I want to put two 12'' cold cathodes
(http://shop2.outpost.com/product/386...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG) under the dash of my car, so to get power i bought this from auto zone....

How should i go about wiring it? to those who have done this themselves, do the cathodes come with a power wire and a grounding wire? if so, i assume you just connect the two red together and it should work?

umm, cant you just connect them to the 12v power supply going to something like the cigarette lighter and throw a switch in there? Thats what i did for underdash neons on my eclipse.

Yes, the Add-a-Tap will work if it fits OK. I'd suggest the 10 amp fuse and find a blank that is wired. there's a couple, I believe. Wire the positive from your lights to the red and ground the negative. Check this thread here for mucho information about light installs:

Hey, If I sent you $$, could you buy me one of those? I've been unable to find them in the mini fuse size and nobody seems to know what i'm talking about at my local stores...

OK, i know the fuse fits now, and i have one last question .... i dont know whether to put it in the empty fuse between the stop and the gauge fuses, or just piggyback one of those. any ideas on which is better?

I got myself one if those too, but I don't know how to wire the cold cathodes.

The cold cathodes just have two wires that run thru them and I can't tell which is the red + wire and which is the ground. Or...blah...

Right now, I'm just wiring the lights thru the back of my cigarett lighter. I bought the Add-A-Circuit thing so I could tap into a power source that was always on. That way, the cold cathodes could be on w/o my keys in the car and in the ON position.

Help?
