If you go to the tech section there are installation guides and write ups for a number of armrests.............

Don't worry about it do what the guy before me said. I have the one the dealerships now sell. I did it in the dark using only the dome light. . .very easy install. Although I have heard from some it's a little low. I'm only 5'7" so it's just a little low but I'm used to it now. Don't worry about it too much it's easy.

I think it was under $100. . . I forget it was about a year ago and my ex bought it for me. Check ebay or one of the site sposors like scionsport. IF you want it fast and the dealer has it you can do that too. Do a search on the armrest. . . I have read in other posts there are other armrests that people like better. . . more storage and all that jazz. I just wanted something to put my right arm on. ha ha ha. have fun

I did the same thing. I got home from work and couldn't wait for the next morning to get it in.

The only bad thing is that I keep my lighter in that little center console indent behind the shifter. . . the arm rest makes it a little hard to get to sometimes. I'm used to it now but before it was just a pain. . . I'm starting to notice things are a pain when new for me. . .ha ha ha

I bought the Boomerang armrest off a guy on here for $60 and it took about 5 minutes to install. Made a world of difference on comfort though.

Do you know what brand or from whom you bought that one? I like the look of it.

Does it interfere with pulling the Ebrake up all the way or get int he way at any time?

do a search on ebay for scion xb armrest, it is from an independant guy. A lot of people have bought his armrest and really like it, it does not interfere with the e-brake and is not in the way.

Default aux or ipod?

Does it interfere with the AUX or IPOD ports on the 06 xB? I have the dealer installed one but I might as well not have one because it is so low.

i think all the armrests are low but if you go by the height of the armrest on the door (which is slightly low) they should be relatively the same. I got a Boomerang and love it.
