Default Intalling a Viper 5000-need advice

Hey,

I was just wondering if anyone has done this or a similar alarm and how difficult it is?

I have access to the installation manual, and I have mechanical and electrical aptitude, I have just never done an alarm before.

Any thoughts/suggestions? Id like to DIY.

Thanks.

All you need is knowledge, the right tools and some patience. The xB is a very easy car to install an alarm or remote start or the combo. The worst part about installing in these is the under dash (dash under the steering column) does not come off like in most cars and there are a few wires that are hard to get to because of this. Just make sure you have the right tools to do the job and it shouldn't be hard.
