IS the Interior of the Scion going to be a plastic or a nice rubberized dash/console?

 

probably the rubberized material...its safer

 

The dash feels like Japanese paper :?:...

I didn't know they had different paper or trees there that has a special feel to it :D

Yeah, same here. Its gonna be hard to clean because of the texture. But it does look nice new. But it does feel wierd.

 

The only problem with textured dashes in my experience is that you just can't wipe them clean with a rag... Get one of those hard brush attachments for your vacuum, and it'll clean anything off of it with ease...

if it's anything like the dash on my Si anyway... very textured with lots of little grooves...

 

Yeah, my Cavalier has pretty cheap plastic on the dash (i have a theory if you remote the rubber shift ****, rubber steering wheel, and the seats, you can recycle the interior of the car ) Anyone know if there's going to be an aluminum trim kit coming out for it?

 

just gotta break out the best cleaning tool ever. A Toothbrush
