Hey everyone. I'm new here and looking to make a few tweaks to my girlfriend's xA. I'm looking for a way to mount her iPhone to the dash so she can use it for GPS. I've seen the Proclip and Panavise mounts and they seem to be too far down and out of the way. What I'm really looking for is to do something like this

I'm surprised no one seems to have done it yet. That's prime gadget mounting real estate right there if you ask me. Any thoughts?

 

I use the Panavise 809 Windshield mount and an iStabilizer iPhone tripod adapter. One of the few I found which allows you to keep your iPhone in it's case. I got both off Amazon

I know this isn't what you asked for, but I though I'd let you know my experiences with them and they have been great, highly recommended!

edit: sorry, it looks like the iStabilizer is on backorder
