I've got the optional 06 headunit w/ ipod controls and have noticed some weird behavior and I wonder if others have experienced it.

If there is nothing playing on the ipod, and you try to browse to a specific album via artist it will list ALL albums on the ipod by ALL artists and not just the particular artist subset. (menu >> Artist >> and scroll from "ALL" it will show EVERY album and not jsut he albums from the selected artist.)

If there is already music being played off the ipod it works as it should...

Anyone else notice this?

 

wi have the rs3 and it has a different HU, but on mine, i can browse by artist, once i pull up an artist, unless i scroll to song, i can brown by each album under that artist.
in my rs1.0, i have the aftermarket ipod hookup from periferal and i prefer it to the scion ipod hookup. i can use both the headunit, and the ipod click wheel, but i can't see the track titles in the headunit.
