Where did you buy it? try contacting the reseller and have it replaced or repaired!

I returned the first one and they sent me another one. Still have the same issues with the second one. I'm getting ready to send this one back too, maybe I'll wait maybe Toyota or pioneer will come up with a interface for the stock H/U. I got it from Crutchfield I got for $105 shipped and installed it myself.

I read that some where, that Toyota was going to come out with a interface for the Scion but I can't find it now. I guess I will wait untill then.

How is it working for you and can you control your ipod though the stereo? Does it display text?

working okay so far....

the headunit shouldn't display any text. it just shows playlist number and track number. i am able to control the tracks and random (shuffle) function from the headunit. your ipod should just read "toyota" "ok to disconnect"... or something like that. is it at least charging the ipod?

unfortunately i payed to have mine installed so i can't really help if its an istallation issue.
