If I have my iPod docked to the OEM Pioneer xB radio, is there a faster way to get to the artist "ZZ Topp" (for example) without having to go through all the A-artist, then B-artist, then C-artist.... etc. I have to twist the **** until my wrist hurts.

Can I jump to "Z" faster?

therein lies the problem w/ alot of ipod compatable HUs. I personally have like 4000 songs on my 60gig and it totaly crazy tryin to find certain artists. Best advice i can give u is to set up some playlists that break up all ur music. Its an annoying habit to get into, but when i had the stock ipod HU it was the best solution i found.

 

god, i'll be ____ed if there is some quick key for faster searching...so much time wasted

 

The short answer.......No. My unit allows me to scroll backwards and forwards and it's still a pain sometimes whenever you want to get an artist that's near the middle of the alphabet.

 

The new iPods have the search feature on them, which makes things much easier!!

 

you could always get a cable and control it from the ipod directly. thats what i do since it is the easiest way for me, plus i can just hand off the ipod to the passengers if i dont feel like listening to anything in particular.
