I searched and never found any solid write-up on getting this thing to work, so I did one myself.

Comments, suggestions???
Hopefully this helps people out a bit and puts down some fears about getting this kit to work.

Thanks for the feedback everyone =)
The JDM fogs are a bit nicer. The inside of the lens is coated with that reflective paint/polish. I"m not positive it makes a big difference on light output, but to me, they look so much better - especially since my corners are clear.

I'd like to change the green bulb on mine to red too. Can you include that how-to later?

Well, as I stated, the bulb is clear - the green color must be coming from the "lens" on the switches face itself. If you want to change out the bulb though its pretty easy

If you look at the top, there are two circles. The one on the right (the smaller one) is the access for the bulb. Twist it with a thin screwdriver to the left and then it should be loose so you can pull it straight out - you do need to persuade it a bit to come out.
Once its out you can pull the bulb out and replace it. I think its the same #74 bulbs though. I'm not sure what it will look like putting a different color in there and having it mix with the green though...

Nice write up but you do know that you can buy the USDM fogswitch from the Toyota dealer? Bought mine for $30.00. I posted the part number sometime ago. I found it well worth it.

If you like the plain switch better, that's great, but I think the majority of us would prefer to use the JDM switch that came with the foglights, and have it illuminate.

I added a direct link to his site in the Tech section. I'll wait until he makes his changes to add it to the FAQ forum...
Ok, I thought I should also add that I wasn't able to get the red bulb in there, the bulb I had is a #74 but it is like TWICE as long as whatever is in there, maybe a #2x series???
Will have to investigate further - do bB's have green interior lighting or something?
