Default JDM bB Lower Center Console - Finally Installed

After 2 months of planning and modding my JDM lower center bB console has finally been installed. This was no easy task. Pently of cutting and sculpting had to be done to get this piece in place. Being the lower section of the bB center console is wider then the US version, the US version had to be cut open wider and the bB console made smaller to fit within the US version. This mod is not for a beginner. Once in place, I only have a few minor mods to do to it but overall I'm very happy with it.

A silver carbon fiber kit has been ordered to fill in some of the center parts.

Pictures can be viewed at:

or if someone can post them for all to view would be great.

Enjoy.

Looks Sweeeet! Now you just need yourself a Camry Navi screen to replace the head unit and you have a true JDM look.

Hey Ron,
Your dash looks beauty eh..... Glad to see that it finally fit.
Makes me think about what I can do with the console in my little box...... hummmmmm

Hey Jason, how many lights can we put on one 30 amp fuse before we blow it to hell????hehehehehe Dino

That is awesome! I didn't know that the consoles were different between the US & JDM dashes. Still, worth all the time and effort. I love the illuminated bB! That is schweet!

Looks good, I might have to mount some cupholders in the foldaway compartment.

Looks great, Orataro. Are you going to paint the bB panel white too? Or just cover it with CF?

The bB panel will be staying it's OEM color but two CF kits have been ordered to fill around the A/C ***** and HU. One will be silver and the other Gray/Blk. I'll see which I like best once they arrive. Also, white A/C vents and speedo trim pieces are to arrive from Japan soon.

Wouldn't the camry nav screen fit where your current head unit is now?

edit: better pic

And if you check coasterlvr's signature for his pics of his system, he hooked up the reverse camera to it.

That's the puppy I'm looking at too. $1,700 for it it'll have to wait until all my other mods are done first. My GPS V will have to do for now.

Well Troy @ oemvalue.com accepts trade-ins too, so the price comes down a bit. He's a very cool guy. Helped me on my install and gave me a pretty good discount for being the first Scion to buy from him.

I'm actually thinking of the doing the reverse camera myself too. I've read in other message boards that the Eclipse BEC103 or BEC104 is supposed to be plug and play with the Camry navi head unit.
