JDM stuff question
I've seen a couple of "JDM" parts that caught my eye and I'm wondering if they might be available state-side.
One thing was and "infinity mirror" style rearside window.
If you don't know what an infinity mirror is, it's one of these

It's got lights around the edge that reflect on the mirror making it look like is goes on for...well...infinty
The other thing was tinted windshields.
In the bB bible I spotted tinted windshields. Not just tinted at the top, but the whole windshield was lightly tinted and then the top was much darker. They had green, blue, and grey windshields.
Does anybody know of any places that might have access to this stuff? I am assuming that the ones from Japan would be SUPER expensive to ship. So if there is a U.S. dist. that would be great.
Also, do the Japanese use the laminated saftey glass on windshields like we do over here?

Cool! Where do you hang that infinity mirror? I would think a good tint shop could duplicate the graduated tint effect but, not too sure. Maybe try www.tl-factory.com and talk to hahajoey...

A windowless van has 2 front windows and a windshield. We can paint all of our windows solid if we want to, but we still require 2 front windows and a windshield.
If you have ever tried to back up with tinted windows at night, it's tough to see what's behind you, so imagine going forward with a tinted windshield....sure you have headlights, but your vision is impaired. Not to worry, I'm working on it as we speak.
Imagine cars coming from the factory with the same technology as auto tinting glasses...during the day the windows/windshield tint really dark and at night they all go clear...and they adjust darkness for how bright it is outside. Welcome to the future of window tinting.
