Default JL Audio Setup

Just got my Tc and I'm upgrading the sound system but I have no idea how to do it. I have the bazooka subwoofer but I'm left with wanting more. My uncle works at an audio shop that specializes in JL audio and he is hooking me up. I really want to wait for the new stuff coming out so I was wondering what would be the most sensible setup? I want it to sound good for the money. I'm going to use the 10w1v2 to replace the bazooka sub already in my car. Which components should I use and what "e" series amp would I need to run some component speakers and the sub?

Here are some links to the stuff I'm talking about

Thanks in advance

Well I would say go with the CSI compontents and CXI Coaxials or the new ZR components and the e4300 amp is what you will want to use.

If you uncle works at an audio shop just ask him ... have him call the JL rep while you are there and see what the JL rep says!

if you are definetly doing the zr comps, i would suggest using the slash series amps, to at least run them maybe the 500/5, or a combination of 300/4 and 2

with the xr series or below, you can use the e6450 to power front rear and sub

the slash series amps are superior, with the price to match... but you can probably get a great deal on the e6450 amp...

I installed the VR650-CSi, e4300, e1400D and 10W3v2-D4 in my TC. The pipe line will fill slowly for the 10W1v2 and the ZR will land in the spring.
