nice job & looks good, mine may be glowing tonite.. I like how yours lit up.
I see the light located under the core support framing,
seems to light it all up well. I was gonna run 2 tubes there
and 2 under the strut bar, but maybe just that one spot will work. I'd prefer to
keep the lighting source hid. I think if I mount under the strut bar, they will stick out too much.
Thanks for the pic!, and again, looks good.

yeah i wish i could capture how it really looks on camera but it keeps turning out looking orange in person when i open my hood it like radiates out deep red. think 2 strips should be sufficiant.. they are waterproof led strips from Onzium.com.. and the one strip really surprised me with how bright it is... i will also be posting pictures after i install my cathode kit on the interior also from onzium..

I used 10, 5MM orange LEDs drilled into the steel cowl intake panel that the wiper assembly mounts in. I used 4, 12" cathode tube sets from Oznium. Each unit has 2 12" tubes. 1 unit (pair of tubes) is used on each side with a tube up under the fender and the other tube in each side of the the upper tie bar. 1 unit is used in the upper grille and the last unit in the lower grille. The undercar lighting is an Oznium flow lighting led undercar setup. It is million color has motion and can be synched with music in multiple patterns.

Yep, you're absolutely right, the red is not very bright.

Green & blue are really bright!

i just finished putting 2 more cathodes in the engine bay uv ones so now i have a red led strip in the front and two 12" uv cathodes in the back shining down on the headers i will take pics and post them tonight after it gets dark i hop it looks cool. it was a biatch hiding that little transformer bowx tho. i think the water proof leds from oznium is probably best bet for engine bay but i guess we'll see
