the alarm chirped when it was armed and disarmed, but it fails to do so.


i just put in a CAI, and i did disconnect the battery (best reason why the alarm wont chirp).





is there a way to have the alarm chirping again?

 

You probably did something to the programming. I would go to the Karr owners manual that was given to you at the dealer or you could call Karr and ask them.

do you have a LED mounted somewhere? Does it stay on or does it blink? If it stays on, then you are in Valet mode. If is does blink/flash, then take that crappy thing out and just use the factory system, or get a real alarm system.
