Default LED Door Lock Caps installed

Hey all, i just thought i would post here on my newest installation. I have had some other members interested in what the product looks like. What was it you may ask? LED door lock caps, as seen on Ebay. Shawn; owner of www.superfa.com, has these plus a lot more goodies in store. Hes also a great guy to buy from. He answered all my questions and always kept in touch through the buying process. He is also a sponsor here on SL.

Installation was relatively easy. If you follow the directions that come with them, you can have all for wired in about 30 minutes. I opted to wire through the doors and into my exsisting interior lighting that came with the RS1 package. The quality is top notch, and they have lots of colors to choose from. They have indentations in the front and rear just like the OEM lock caps. If you would like further information on how to wire these through the doors or more pics, hit my PM and ill give you time saving secrets.

What times are they lighted up? Just with lights on or are they inline with the door lock/parking lights? Thanks

Currently i have them wired into the interior lighting package that came with the RS1 package. You can wire them into either the blue wire inside the door; they will be on as long as the key is on, or you can tap into the fuse block. Those instructions are provided with the set of lights.

I do love mine, but i would have liked them to be more of a Hot Lava color. Meaning that they dont really match the RS1 orange interior. They only way around that would to have a darker orange plastic, which i know Superfa isnt going to do for just a few sets.

All in all, i like it as does anyone i meet.

Here's a video of the color changing locks, upper and lower shift bezels. Pretty cool looking at night. Video is 5MB

That lower shift bezel is SICK! will that be offered in plain red LEDs as well?

I checked them out but they are kinda pricey. Maybe later after the price gets adjusted.

Those door locks are hot! I like how they put light up on the headliner. Does anyone know which are brighter in that aspect? the clear acrylic with blue or the blue acrylic with super white?

Is there any way to get them to light up just when the locks pop up and down? What wire would that be if so?
I don't think I would roll with them on all the time.
