LED Flexible strips
i have some of these guys: http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips and i want to mount them in the wheel wells. Any idea on where they should be mounted and how i should i go about doing that. i already have some leds in the headlights so i think i can slice in for the front two. Let me know if you can give me some advice. Thanks!
Thanks for the speedy response, you are the best. i would like to achieve a look like this,
. Any idea on where those are mounted? Also, how do they attatch and to what do they attach? thanks again!

hmm.. looks like phil's car.
he has them kinda behind and above the wheel so it shines down on the inside of the rim, or from the middle of the rim shining outwards..
for these pics.. he didn't really mount them.. just kinda placed them in so he can take a picture.
best to ask phil (oznium) to exactly what location he has it for it if you're curious.

I haven't done this myself yet, but from how lit up the inside of the wheels are, I would gues that they are on the side of the wheelwell (not much light above the tire). You probably want to place it so that you see the actual strip as little as possible (keep it clean).
As for mounting, you could probably go to a home depot (etc) and look for some sort of a tarry/heavy duty adhesive substance (3M most likely) if you want to go the route thats not permanant. However, since its rubber or plastic casing the LEDs make sure it isnt anything that will damage the casing (like using petroleum distillate-containing polishes on tires.)
edit: CherryBox beat me.. i tried
But good to know. I thought mounting them on the back of the brakes would melt them. I think i'll put mine there now.

dude, no worries, I dont think anyone thought you were trying to claim that car
as fas as mounting substance, i'd try windshield glue if you have access to it. if you might ever take them out, i'd go with black silicone.
might want to just light them up and play with the positioning - just tape them into place and step back to get a peek.
as far as mounting them ON the brakes, no, i didn't really mean that, I'm sorry, I meant 'behind' the brakes, just so that the LEDs are not directly visible.

yeah cool i was a little sketched out about putting them on the brakes, my rims are sort of a matte finish so im not ever sure it would look good at all, what do you guys think?

thanks again!

thanks again!
