I just hate amber in general. I have eliminated all my amber.

i know on the xA the little "storage" area under where the A/C controls are is amber illuminated standard. is there a way that i can change it to blue? and how much would that cost (estimate)?

heres a quick write up

after you got the face plate and the switches unpluged off... pop off the two taps on the side to free the (the name of it is in the picture haha)

i used a flat blade screw driver to press it down and it slides right off with (pull gently it will come off)

you need to also take out the metal bracket there it just pops right out when you disengage the claw on it... to better get the drill bit in there

use a drill bit slightly smaller diameter then the led (around a 1mm smaller) and drill and if it needs to be bigger file out the hole with a round file or just use the drill bit to make it a little bit bigger

and press in the LED... tight fit...

your gonna want to paint the back of the LED as you can tell from my post above this one kind of bright back there

pull the wires thru this hole leave enough slack for the movement of the switch... (thats a must, duh haha)

when putting the lever back on make sure the metal tap is on the bottom (as you see in the picture

i wired it too my headlight and dimmer switch wiring
