I have the xA and I was wodering, since the xB also has the D-pillar window, if there is any possibility of mounting some high power 3way 6x9 speakers in an enclosure custom made for the Dpillar area? Was thinking if the window molding was used for a mold they could be fabricated with fiberglass. Has there been any made or has anyone see this done before? Curious about quality since the speakers would be out of the rear floorboard and up at ear level...
Of course the use of the rear quarter windows would be lost but the sound gain would probably be impressive!!

So are you going with a fiberglass mold or building enclosure with MDX?

I just wanted to mount 6x9 there and drive with output for rear OEM speakers, maybe an amp?

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i...nclosures.html
link with lots of speaker enclosures, some wedge designes would angle speakers forward!
Not sure on how to fasten/mount securely ???
