So I was poking around in a Matrix the otherday, and noticed a cool little coin holder. It looked like it would fit the xB dash. So I popped it out of the unsuspecting Matrix. I then removed my traction control switch from my xB (does anyone actually turn the TC off anyway?). The Matrix coin holder pops right in, with no mods. Heres a pic:

this will also fit the xA and tC without removing anything.

 

Sweet. Thanks for the heads up on this. Must find a Matrix :twisted: . Do the coins pop out when you hit bumps though?

 

You will need the TC off when you are stuck in the mud or snow. It's somewhere in the owners manual.

 

If you can Find an Echo they have them as well

just did mine. but the coin holder i got(matrix too) is mated with another switch, i have to cut and trim the coin holder to fit.

 

really? maybe its a different model matrix. there was another coin holder down b the shifter I think, but it was a horizontal style and not vertical like the one i snagged. Post a pic if you get a chance.

yeah, it could be a different, maybe older model Matrix. It is located almost the same as where we put it. I also have the horizontal style(dont know where to put it.

 

Neat idea, if you don't need the switch, but I got a coin holder in my xB. It's that cup like thing near the glove box. I simply put my coins in there. When I need them, I reach in and get them, or pop the holder out and get them.

Feel free to use this mod.

 

you can put it in the locations uner the secret door those should fit.
i use that cup holder next to the glovebox for my lil scented can air freshener perfect spot

go on laugh too bad i don't have pix to show you how I hack and slash the armrest i did(1st armrest to show up) its also from matrix too!
