Wow! thats freakin awesome!

when i first started planning out my audio settup in the cargo area, i wanted to do it in carbon fiber until i learned that it would be slightly heavier *not really a big deal...* then fiberglass depending on it's use but at the same time... the one thing that turned me away was just how much it costs for carbon weave... it's INSANE hahaha. 40-70 bucks a yard... and for my settup i'd be looking at around 10-15 yards... SHEESH! *my subs are heavy... 10" but nearly 40lbs a piece and are in the quater panels in reverse mount and somewhat hanging.*.

how long did it take you to do your dash like that? i know by reading that carbon fiber work is the same as fiberglassing, so the time shouldn't be much different right? 3-5 weeks at the most right?

 

well, if you did it out of carbon, you only due the first layer or 2 of carbon and then back it with fiberglass, as carbon alone is brittle. i might try to use kevlar next time

 

I want to do my interior pillars ! , any advice ? , vinyls ?
