Just wanted to post another mod I am almost finished with, and to give others some ideas to consider doing to their Scions. The pics below show the beginning of a rear shock tower brace/SVGA panel mount. Also the frame work for the amp rack on the back of the rear seats. I will update with completion pics, I have had the brace painted to match the Black Cherry Pearl factory paint (Thanks Mike from Cabe Toyota). This also ties in with the front strut bar, and the carbon fiber engine cover that was painted/tinted to match (Thanks Nish).

I also included a pic of the hardware for my future mod I am working on, a fully operational installed Halon extinguisher system with nozzles for engine bay, gas tank and inverter coverage activated by dash pull (I have seen these in kit cars and Dodge Vipers). I don’t like fires especially with electrical ones, " been there done that"

It is the mesh material that is on the full bra. IMO I would do like they did on the Hot Lava and TRD grill, mount some sort of barrier like aluminum or plexi glass instead .

 

where do u propose i go pick sumthin liek that up (not being sarcastic im dead serious) im new to the car lover world *first good car* any ideas on where ot pick sumthin like that up?

 

Most home improvement places carry all the materials, even the mesh if you want to use it (it is used to keep leaves out of gutters). You just have to fabricate the mounting brackets.

"Top Secret" lack of money and time would be more like it but thanks and don't worry we already have a trophy ***** "Green Bean/Buns". I just hope to be able to drive it some day waiting for parts "SUCKS"

More updates pics's should be coming, just installed some OTG 10mm axle spacers and the Cusco frame brace should be in and re-powder coated by next week, maybe that Webasto sunroof... and thanks to you and the guys from SE I will be going to the poor house trying to keep up!
