hey guys/girls
so, i have a tC

and i have this major project in the works to be done before april/may rolls around
but i have no time to actually go find out at an install place...
what size of a monitor fits flushed into my dash??... (double-din)
i measured awhile bak at 7" corner2corner as well as my headrests
i dont wanna go out and buy a bunch of 7" screens and find out they wont fit as snug as i wanted
can anybody help?

try to find someone with a 7' inch and place it to the dash for fittment??

 

7 inches will buldge in the corners of the headrests... you may get up to a 6" depending on what type of raw screens you use, Your best bet is to go to a shop and see what they have in stock. You can chance it online, the safest size is 5.6 for the farenheit, blaupunkt type of screens with trims, those big bulky screens won't fit nice and flush...

 

you can stick a 7" lcd into the spot where your radio is or buy one of those double-din head units w/ a screen for some $$$$
