Default Mounting HU

Just bought an alpine 9853....what your opinions on that deck. Anyway the question is, is it necessary to drill new holes in the stock mounting bracket to mount the deck or are there any other options.

Metra also makes a kit to fit all 3 Scions. 99-8209 is the part number.
