Default mp3 volume problem

I have a 06 xb with stock radio, my problem is that when either my mp3 player or my daughters is plugged into the aux the volume is not quite enough on the highway. It's okay for most songs but some of the older stuffy music I like just doesn't have the volume. I have tried to find a signal booster but haven't had any luck so far. Any suggestions? (other then listen to louder music)

Get a Boostaroo. Google it. It's a headphone amp and will up the output from the MP3 player by a factor of 4. The company sells 'em for $20; I've seen 'em on Amzon for $15. The amp runs a couple of days on a couple of AA batteries.
Cheers,
MD

Using an iPod?

Go into iTunes>select all songs>Right click>get info>options and move the volume adjustment slider to 100%.

Or new HU...you know the rest!

i had the same problem even though i turned the vol all the way up on my mp3 player, and i thought i was going mad. eventually it was the bass on the mp3 player that was messing it up - i turned it off and now its all ok in the music box
