My dome light does not go out when doors are closed
How do I check to see if the switch in the doors are working or not. I pressed in the button of both doors and the lights did not go out. YES I am in the door position of the switch on the dome light.
Is there a fuse that controls this?
I have a 2006 Scion XB.

You may have to take the bulb out until you figure this out... Unless it turns off
I had a Honda Accord this happened to and it turned out to be the switch in the light unit in the roof had failed, because the plastic failed thru the heat here in PHX. Rather than buy and expensive new plastic housing (I also only had 2 hours to fix it) I wired up the failed part and it worked until we got rid of it.
