Another option for this sort of thing is to get a PA system. My girlfriend's brother has one in his durango, and dame that thing is sweet. It also does lovely police sirens and such. If anyone is interested in that, I'll find out what model he's got and what he'd recommend.

Nicely done little mod though.... one way to make it better would be to have a sub inside, that plays wether the inside or outside speakers are playing.

Not quite my cup of tea... but it's still pretty darn cool.

 

I didnt waste any money really, my dad bought speakers for his boat that didnt fit so he gave them to me!! Haha its for show and shuting down ricers... Also good for outside events/parties... Some may or may not like it, but like mike says it suits me hehe.. I have a data cd with all types of sirens and sound effects... Funny pulling up in a tC with a police siren going off lol

Pooka, I have 2 Rockford 12's on a toggle, the video was under the car speakers only no subs etc... but they are there...

i guess good work, i'd have to say you're probably not going to use it much, and it's probably going to get destroyed, but i respect the actual installation... not so much the idea, but all the power to you.

 

Scion RI I use it alot as a matter of fact at the local meets.. And the Speakers will hold up well they are in a plexi case.. Even if they do break 39.99 speakers every year or so will not kill me lol... Ive gotten some emails and pms about this mod.. So im going to do a DIY its pretty simple..
