eh I will just stick with my xm Roady system..

 

i was beated to the mute button option.

 

Amen to that. volume is analog, so there should be an analog control! I cuss the stupid thing when a loud ad comes on and I can't turn it down quickly. The mute button doesn't replace this functionality.

only dislike I have with the mute button is when u turn the car off when its on mute.. when u turn it back on volume 50.. isnt so great at 430am

 

I gotta agree with all of you. I don't like that there's no ****, but I do like the mute... I'm almost tempted to get an aftermarket deck just to fix that.

 

I was thinking about this on the commute in this morning… it's odd because I've had two stock systems in here and each was a bit different in how the amplify the signal from FM, with the more recent one requiring higher volume #s… still, a **** would completely put a stopper on the over all interface, just sticking out right there on what is otherwise a flat facade

 

i use the mute button alot....even faster than turning down the volume

 

Yeah me too. It's just alot faster than holding that damn button in.

 

I don't mind the volume.. (but does anyone know how high it goes? 100?) I do wish there was a pause button. The other thing that bothers me about the stereo is that fast forward with random play on takes you to the next track in sequence, not to another random track. You have to turn off random play and then turn it on again. ACK.

 

I wish you could adjust volume with it muted. Hit mute @ 35, turn it down to 15 or so then unmute at that level.
