My quasi-stealth sub install
Well I finally got everything cleaned up, so here are some pics.
I installed the following:
Eclipse 4 channel 400 W RMS amp
Audioformz V1 enclosure
Memphis 10" sub
Infinity 5.25" rear speakers
I like that I now have plenty of room back there, no sub box in the way. I purchased the enclosure and sub from the PPC. The enclosure was already painted Hot Lava.
I mounted the amp above the spare tire with a custom CNC laser cut aluminum treadplate piece which is powdercoated black and follows the contours of the OE cover.
The sound is amazing. The bass is more than I need and the rear speakers fill out the sound in the rear, which was definitely lacking.
I still need to paint the enclosure and get a new grille, but here we are.

Oh, and on my HU I have a separate sub out with individual volume control and low-pass filter.
