Default My Stereo is finally done!!!!!pics

well after weeks of meeting up with njthunder5sp(Jeff) we finally finished my stereo late last night. It was well worth the wait. it sounds soo nice and the sub ***** hard. Jeff can attest to that.

Specs:
Alpine 7894 Headunit
Elemental Design Comps
Stock rears
Elemental Design Nine.2 for comps
Hifonics Brutus bx1500
Resonant Engineering 12" XXX in 3.5cu tuned to 28hz

The Brutus is a beast. Wondering how you like the Elemental Design Components? I have heard nothing but good things about that company and wondering how they are.

Loving them, i am i big fan of their subs ( had a 15k03 and a 1stgen 15A flatcone sexyness) they are not harsh at all, and have alot of midbass. They matchup with my XXX extremely well. Only comps i have heard to compair are alpines typex and r's while the x's are very smooth they lack midbass compaired to the I's.

Nice setup, but I'd move that amp control thing. It'd be nasty to hit your knee on that in a car crash (my brother has one, the edges are quite sharp).

looks like your amps could use some more room to "breathe".

yeah i would think the brutes would over heat like that hifonics makes good ____ but it runs a little warmer then most stuff maybe mount the hifonics amp on top of the box and tint your window on the hatch with limo tint so no one can see it just a thought

i plan on moving the remote into the dash it was only a temp solution as we finished at almost 3am that night.

air volume is 3.5 cubes tuned to 28hz

i no they would love more room to breathe but as cold as it is here now i dont think it matters now, but when it gets warmer i usually drive with the seats and windows down so they'll have alot of fresh air to keep cool

a xxx? How many weeks did you wait for it? I hear they are sick, although I've never heard(or felt) one in person. I settled for a pair of re-10's under the seats, so just ignore me. I'm a little jealous right now.
