So it starts on a windy day and i had my new 06 XB for 6 days. my girlfriend and i hear a loud bang. we look outside and a 14 foot oak tree fell on my car. i took it into the shop and they fixed it in a month and a half SCREW AAA. so anyways i get it back and two days later someone burns out infront of me and shatters my right passenger window and put about 300 paint chips on the passenger side. please tell me if you beat this and make me feel better

my life aleays goes fairly well, but i have to say ive met a few people that just cant seem to tread water. i dont know why, its just every time they turn around some thing realy bad keep happening. its like they never get one second to get ups on life.

 

My first car was a 94 Saturn SL1. I got in 7 accidents with it before it was finally flipped sideways in a ditch by a redneck that ran a red light. The worst/best accident was a night when I was moving (I was living in central GA at the time).. I came around a corner and there I saw 3 deer that were about to run... and well, I came to a complete stop and well, they kept going and ran right over my car. One hit the front, one hit the drivers door and one hit my back bumper. Because I was stopped all that happened was I got cracks all over my dumb plastic car... needing a new front panel, a new door and a new trunk... YEA PLASTIC.. "dent resistant" hardy har har. SO the next day I had to go to Macon... and some dumb girl that just got her license PLOWED into me on the other side.. I was sitting at a stop light... Um.. yea. Believe it or not, that didn't total it...
I had a customer and his girlfriend both buy cars from me... and 3 months later there was a freak storm and a tree feel on both of their cars and totalled them both... SO they both got new xA's and their payments went down because they had GAP and they had rolled some negative equity...

Today I had this Happen to me, HORRIBLE luck , out of all the Mercedes and Lexus , and especially Hondas, a big branch dropped off and wrecked the top of my box, 2g damage quote, Dont know what to do : /

Was it a FICUS tree? LMAO couldn't help myself.
There is no such thing as "luck". It's a case of making better decisions in life. The tree falling was a bad decision parking in the street. Boxes belong in the garage! The burnout thing could have prolly been avoided.
Same thing with all the broken windshields. You have to be aware of the dangers and make changes in what you do. It works for me all the time. 35K on my original windshield with no cracks. Knock on wood.
