The question is, why do you want crossover?

A typical component crossover is designed with one purpose, to put Highs to tweeters and mid/lows to woofers.

Usually they look like this

- Tweeter

i was looking to get one because my dealer had one in his xb and it hit pretty good. So i was really wondering if that had much to do with it.

A crossover will not hit. Component speakers, plus a 4ch amp will help. You can use the crossover with the Door speaker and the dash speaker, but why not spend the $200 and get a component 6 1/2 speaker set up with crossover .
