Need some expert help......
Ok im pretty new to car stereo. My question is what is a crossover for? HOw exactly does it istall? Its probably a stupid question but I know you guys know your stuff so thanks in advance.
The question is, why do you want crossover?
A typical component crossover is designed with one purpose, to put Highs to tweeters and mid/lows to woofers.
Usually they look like this

A crossover will not hit. Component speakers, plus a 4ch amp will help. You can use the crossover with the Door speaker and the dash speaker, but why not spend the $200 and get a component 6 1/2 speaker set up with crossover .
