First of all and most importantly, as long as you like it it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. That being said, wow. That has got to be the worst mod I have ever seen done to a car. It looks hideous. What happens if you get in a wreck and smack your head on it? In no way, shape, or form does that compliment your ride. Please don't tell me you are trying to go for a VIP look. Your interior looks bad enough with everything painted yellow. I can't express how much I hate that light.

But hey, as long as you like it. You did something completley out of the box and props to you for that.

okay first off yeah i got a cheap fixture i'm gutting it out and not using any of the electrical why would i buy one with mulitpule bulbs or good brightness when it doesn't matter AT ALL. think before you talk crap. second just because ya might not like yellow doesn't make it ugly. 3rd the only thing paint on the dash is the gauge cover and speaker cover. the rest is a dash kit from veneerz which if anyone else here has they and back me up and say that is the nicest one out there. so once again think and know what your talking about before you talk poop.

but to clarify, i dont think that really falls into VIPstyle. either way, if you dig it...good for you man. way to not bow to the opinions of internet herbs.

Have you thought of painting the base of that light yellow to match the rest of your interior? The faux brass isn't doing it for me.

i don't see how i'm "abusing" the VIP look. it's not like all i did was stick the light in there one day and be like "wow now my box is totaly VIP guys!" I have curtains up in the back 3 windows and when bboxed is back in the country i will have them for the front 4 also, i have the orataro table, the crystal a/c **** to match everything will be on the way soon too. I said i was working on the look i never said i was done. i do have some more things i have planned to do to the interior and not just stop as it is.

I don't get this whole VIP thing,(it's just not my style) but do what YOU want. I feel if you could go about 50% smaller on the latest domelight it would look more proportional. I like the idea just need smaller. A+ for effort Bro!
For the peeps that are downright rude with their comments. Remember if you don't have something nice to say you might be better off keeping it to yourself. JMO

Is there something in writing that gives a clear definition of exactly what VIP is and the limits of what can be called VIP. The title could be called VIP Do's and Don'ts. LOL

Props for working on the VIP route, I think the light would look better without the yellow dash though IMO. Just don't forget to take the simpsons floormats out at the shows

let me just say i've always though your interior was gaudy and had too much going on. now these ROOM lights in a tiny lil car. man

the newest dome light you showed is better looking than the first but it's TOO large , it has gold accents which is a lil off. and it's HUGE. look for like a 6 or 8 inch diameter one. the current one looks like a 10 or 12 inch diameter one.
