Default new little mod

i went to a shop to price some stuff for my new system im going to be buying soon and i found some power acoustik tweeters 2 for $10 so i picked them up and installed them last week i just now got around to taking pictures of them so here they are









they sound alot better then i thought they would and were realy easy to install let me know what you think

Not bad, though in that position I would think they would pull the soundstage backward (which is not desirable).

Once my setup is in, I won't even have rear speakers running.

it did till i adjusted the fader now its perfect and i can get some highs in the rear for ppl that sit back there and for my self

what are you planning on running??? maybe 2 focals in the front???

Have you replaced any of the other speakers yet? I see you have a sub listed, but how about the doors?

not yet soon i have some goodys on the way but this shop said they wont be in for probly 3-4 weeks witch is alright with me in not planning on paying for every thing till then any ways

That is actually a pretty sweet location. Looks very nice. I think the sound stage would be fine if you fade it to the front a little (like you said) or if you havea 4 channel turn the gain on the rears down. Also that piece probably isn't that expensive incase you ever wanted to take them out.

Sweet mod. i really like that a lot. Im saving up for some nice Boston's components, and thats a good place to stick em!

Honestly I haven't decided. My old setup was an Alpine CDA-9815, CDT Eurosport components, Orion amps, Elemental Designs E8A subs... I still have it all but I haven't decided if I want to install it in the tC yet, or start over with new equipment.

hehe I got my LPG 26na's for $40/set, they're excellent but of course they're raw drivers that nobody's heard of. :o

they have a small built in cross over so i just wired them to the same signal going to the rear speakers
