and the amp is mounted under the drivers seat...and yes they are 12's i cant remember how many watts tho lol..i was more interested in the hu at the time

 

yeah I dig that head unit a LOT, looks very nice.

 

I think type e's are good for 150 watts each..I used to run a type-R...best damned sub I ever owned, alpine knows how to make their subs!!!!

arg. sound any good? I have been running four 6 inch orionNTs, 4 ADS tweeters and 2 costum built by a speaker build house 6 inch subs. Powered by ads pq20 75w x 4 for mids. Nak pa504 for 50w x 4 with the 4 tweeters. PQ40 for 200w x 2 for subs. Rockford fosgate t2000 super cd player. Nakamich ec200 and ec200h crossovers.. The sound is like kissing god.

 

can you post what type of head unit that is? Wanna look that up? I was thinking of getting an ecilpse but Im still open to see. The HU is hot!

that is a kenwood excelon and he provided a link in one of his later posts. so nobody else thinks the door speakers suck? cause i sure think they do. also anybody put an amp in that space next to the spare? seems like a great place.

 

the DDX7015 is the head unit. I like it. Kinda wish it was a bit faster reading a disc after the first folder has been played. It's only really fast on the initial load, subsequent browsing of directories takes a second to load up. I also added the KNS-DV4100 to it and the sirius radio tuner. Makes for a decent head unit.

and why doesnt adire audio just go ahead and take over the stereo world and quit letting other companies think they can make subs as good as the brahma?
