I'm not responding until you learn to spell "cruise."

Why do you keep posting this uninformed, uneducated message? Maybe if you knew how to read you could see in the pamphlets and other literature that it is an "accessory" (I know. I know, that’s a big word for you and your limit of 2 syllable word comprehension). A lot of the items for the Scion are a la carte (look it up). Maybe you be better suited to something less complicated like a bicycle. I mean, come on, you're 24 and have the spelling characteristics of a public school 5th grader.

Have a better day!

why after two locked and better threads
did we decide to keep this one...

For those not in the know... CC is NOT a standard option in the US. It IS a dealer option for certain regions. If you simply look on the website, it is nowhere to be found. Why toyota does this... I really have no clue.

so please get your facts straight before slamming on someone else.

If you are going to slam on him at least do it for things like
multi-posting this topic in apparently 3 different forums.

That statement is an insult to 5th graders. You should be able to spell better than that after 3rd grade.

Dear Chimmy, skippy, whatever - Scion has it available nationwide as part of a package deal. Strutbar, oil cap and cruise. Not my favorite way of selecting options, but it's available to the consumer at a price. Ps. I slam therefore, I am.

skippy?
where are you getting your info from em-de-em?

just b/c its available in florida doesnt mean its available nationally. You just happen to live in a region which gets those options...
and in FL you can get CC for 350$ apparently (separate from the "Under the Hood" package)

Why don't you actually try some zip codes for other states, you see neither CC nor the "under the hood" pack you are talking about exists.
i'll even give you a few NYC one for you too see:
11355, 11354, 11422, 11102

You'll notice a few things right away
1) we don't choose a dealer right away
2) we get completely different options
for example
we DON'T get (what FL gets that NY doesn't):
[I used 32801 for orlando, other areas may differ]
ToyoGuard Plus Protection
Billet Grille
Borla Axleback
ANY Chrome Options
ANY Two-tone Options (Roof Paint)
ANY "Hot Hues" Options (Painted Stripe)
ANY Packages
Two-Toned Leather Seats
ANY Speaker Upgrades
ANY DVD Upgrades
ANY Enkei Alloy Rims

we DO get (what NY gets that FL may not):
TYC taillights
Car Cover
Yakima Rack
Spoiler
Exhaust Tip
Front End Mask
Body Side Graphics
License Plate Frames
Cargo Totes (foam? boxes)
More LED Illumination Choices
More Sport Pedal Cover Choices
Different and more Wheel Cover Choices
15" EM Alloys
18" TRD Wheels + Pirelli Tires (may be the same)
Wheel Locks
TRD Struts/Shocks
TRD Sport Muffler
TRD Lowering Springs
TRD Front Strut Tie bar

try 90012 (LA in Cali) and you'll see pretty much the same list as NY.

I believe its only the gulf states that get the "special" options

i wish we had got the option of two tone paint, that would be sick.

Snow, you don't need cruise control in SLC. I had cruise on my last car and NEVER used it in the city. Anywhere. The only time I used it was when going long distance, like Wendover or Idaho. There's to much traffic on I-15 to justify the cruise here...

BTW, when youget your xB, come check us out at http://www.utahscions.com !!!

i really want cruise control installed.. but the dealership that i bought my xb from.. sent me a accessory brochure.. and they list the cruise at $297 PLUS installation fee which i think is a tad bit ridiculous.. where i find online in other states you can buy the aftermarket cruise for $190 plus installation.
anyone in NC have this installed? where and how much was ur total cost?

The dealer that i got mine from would not even put the CC on. but there are other dealers in the area that will.

Oh man, that's so cool. I wish I had the mechanical know-how to do that.

I really want to change out my speedo and clock LED. I know they have tech articles for it, but I honestly don't trust myself and I'll be riding around with my speedometer in my hand
