Default oh no not another gauging fuse question???

is there a fuse that controls the dash lights/center console lights that i can tap into (xA)

on the fuse box would be really really great if there was one on there

and if there is one where at on the fuse block where would it be and whats it called

yeah some thing like that

you can tap into the green wire under the center console. It is the headlight/dash/console light wire. And its fused.

i'm gonna be workin on a clean install for my wiring for my gauges from the fuse box

so i don't have to splice any wires i hope not...

thats what i'm wanting to do anyways

That is where I spliced into as well (at least for the xB). For gauge power splice into any 12v power source (I think I spliced into the lighter). For the gauge lighting go into any power source that is switched by the headlight control. For the xB it is the green wire that goes into the center console. I'm switching my center console to LED this week so I'll be back there. I'll take a picture of the wire and post it for you.

cool man thanks!!!

well woke up thinking this morning(which limits my sleeping time and i hate doing that)

if the green wire means light do i hook up the ground wire to body or back to the dimmer switch???

(ask questions before i prood around the wiring harness lol)

attach the ground to anything metal.

well i didn't like my plan A

so i went with plan B

but i do have my gauge lights working and they do dim :D

i just patched it in at the controls of the a/c wiring harness

and my power at the cig lighter

so as of now 33% of my gagues work(the volt meter gauge) (i ran out of day light)
