Default Ok what Do I need For XM......

Ok guys ive done a search on this already and nothing i found really answers my Question....I just emailed the dealership i got my xb at.....and they want $710 for installing the satellite radio in my car (no kidding)......Nedless to say thats B.S......All i need to know is exactly what do i need to install myself.......Direct hookup not the FM modulation crap.....710 is F'n Ridiculous .......Just need a rundown on what i need....and model numbers of actual items if you can......I know i need a receiver antenna...Just need to know which ones....Grr

Are you using your stock head unit? Depending on what head unit you are using all you may need is the tuner and antenna. Which you can get relatively cheap. Around 100 bucks. (Im comparing this to my Sirius experience) Installation would be a snap. The hardest part will be running the wires. The rest is pretty much plug n play.

You are doing the right thing by doing the installation yourself.

Yeah Icon Its the Stock Headunit...I guess thats where im running into trouble.......Any Suggestions?
