Default Optima Battery Install

I just bought a Blue Top and the posts are too far away for the wires to reach. I was wondering how you guys extended the ring terminal to reach the battery post because the red box on the positive side prevents the post from reaching. Is there an extension I can buy, or is there another way to do it?

I will post a picture later today after I get my camera back. I used a streetwires battery terminal, and then bent the metal tab from the red box to make it fit right. I will be using my blue top until aug when the warranty is just about up.

I have yet to figure out which top I am going to use after that.
