YES I just Bought a 7and 1/2 Flip down monitor and dvd system , by Pyle My question is I want to install my self, I was wondering how hard it is to install, The system comes with a built in FM Modual to play thru stock Stero, I can handle the deck it self , Im going to put it in the cubby hole with the door, but installing the monitor to the roof, I've never tackled that before , the system comes with dome lights, so I know I have to remove my dome light , Its just how do you attach it to the head liner? Thanks for any help?

I haven't done this to an xB yet but will eventually I'm sure. What you have to do is find a couple good mount points above the head liner and use them. Either using sheet metal, MDF, or any other type of rigid surface you can attach the monitor to. Keep in mind the mount will be undergoing much flexing and torture from the install. You may be able to get away with using the original mount of the domelight, but there's no guarantee. If you do take out the head liner to look for mount points, throw on some sound deadener while you are there, it will cut out a lot of the rain and wind noise.

I just installed my clarion 15.3 inch this week. It is pairly easy just mount it where the dome light is. Just make sure that the screw you using is not too long. Also, you don't need to drop the headliner just fish it thru(wiring).
