overhead monitor question?

Default overhead monitor question?

Yes I need to know were to run my red and black wires from the monitor to get power, I thought about the dome light wires but the monitor cuts off after the door is shut
but havent crank the vehichle to see if it will stay on , I know the fuse box box but was trying to not go there, is there some were else I can tie into , Thanks please help ASP im in the middle of install

I ran mine down the A-pillar and wired it into the head unit harness. The power is always on when the car is on. Seems to work out well for me. I have another monitor that I ran a seperate line straight from the battery with an inline switch to turn the power on and off. either way works fine. Just be sure to use an inline fuse no matter what you do.
